ASSOCIATION
Heather was referred to me from an industry contact who I trust. The Colorado Bankers Association was looking for a keynote speaker at our Annual Women’s Leadership conference. She did not disappoint. Heather energized and inspired our attendees to think differently about their roles as leaders inside and outside of their organizations. Heather really connected with the audience, I recommend her for any event. We will have her back at a future conference!

Heather was amazing! We had a speaker drop out due to a medical emergency and Heather stepped in with literally 24 hours notice - did her homework, prepped for our audience and saved the day. It was a very important DEI session and she was a huge success.Debi Kensell - Restaurant Facility Management Association (RFMA)

Heather’s insight, energy, and passion add real value to any employee engagement and professional development initiatives! She strikes the perfect balance between offering a human touch and expertise; as well as meeting clients where they are while challenging them to move forward. It’s great to be in partnership with her!
Danielle Vaughan, FirstBank
Heather's talk at the Denver Improving Capital Projects Symposium gave us great insight into re-framing our mindsets for leadership. She reminded us that leaders don't have to be perfect. In fact, we have the power to choose how we will react to adversity and that we don't have to let challenges hinder us. Instead, we can take control over the "head trash" as one attendee put it and develop a positive mindset to make us stronger. I really appreciate that Heather was approachable and willing to work with us to develop the content for her keynote. It's great to have a local thought leader we could collaborate with for our event!
John Grant, PE, CM-LEAN, Salas O'Brien
Heather was incredible to work with, and legitimately felt like an extension of our team while she was here.
In my role, I have high expectations for how someone will engage with our employees. I know it is hard to get content to land with large and diverse groups, so we spend a lot of time before bringing someone in to see how open they are to delivering their content and interacting with our employees in a way that lands authentically with them. Heather was incredible to work with, and legitimately felt like an extension of our team while she was here. We have encouraged our employees, and especially the leaders in our leadership development programs, to consider workshops as interactive and conversational. We say that we think out loud together and see how we can grow from that. That is a hard thing for someone who doesn't know our group, our norms or our expectations to come in and experience. To be versed enough in their own content to help others learn new things, but also confident and present enough to follow the lead of the participants is a rare thing. Heather did it so well, and we would definitely advise that others take advantage of her skills as a keynote speaker and her abilities to back it up and help it land with the people who want to dig in with her even more. It felt very genuine that she wanted to be there with us and to make sure that she helped us in meaningful ways.

Your session was incredible. Thank you for saying yes to come and teach, inspire, engage, educate, motivate and enable us to reflect.

Heather is an incredible speaker! I witnessed an amazing speech earlier this week focused on resiliency. It is challenging to virtually engage an audience and she was phenomenal. Heather's speech was heartfelt, informative, inspirational, and exactly what our organization needed. I would highly recommend Heather as a speaker. If she can do this well virtually, I can't imagine what it must be like in person!
Colorado Access
Heather is a well experienced motivational speaker. She has the ability to understand the room/organization and provide fun activities and thought-provoking experiences that help her audience. More than a good speaker.
Steven Hansen, Prebysterian Medical Services
Heather hosts a wonderful podcast. I was a guest on her program last year. It was the third podcast I was a part of, and she was BY FAR the best interviewer. She was prepared. She listened. She made a difficult topic easier by using her genuine compassion.
David Bradley, Lake Oconee Dentistry
Heather has partnered with SCA Health on several pillar events as a trusted, professional partner and resource. Prior to our events, she went above and beyond and met with our leadership team creating a custom presentation and workshops that complimented her mainstage keynotes.
Her message of caring leadership resonated and was overwhelmingly well received by our teammates. She was also flexible and pivoted to a new format with ease. Our CEO enjoyed Heather so much that he joined her on her podcast.
Kristy Floyd Crowell - SCA Health
We hosted Heather R Younger for a speaking engagement called “Inspiring the Conversation: Empathy in Action.” The audience was a mixture of executive leadership, managers/supervisors and up and coming leaders. Her energy, solid knowledge of the subject matter and ability to connect with the audience was noted in the follow up evaluations. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Heather and would most definitely recommend her to other organizations looking for guidance on building a culture of caring leadership and active listening.

Heather was recently a Disruptor (aka Speaker) at DisruptHR Colorado Springs 2.0! Chelsea Fryman, SHRM-SCP, President Colorado Springs SHRM Chapter
Heather's talk gives excellent insight about employee experience and how great leaders can instill such positive emotions in those they influence. With the growing conversation of culture and how that affects retention, Heather not only discusses the negative effects of bad culture and employee experience but also helps equip you with methods and strategies to make an impact as a leader and drive a better workplace culture! This session was one of my favorites at the Tennessee SHRM Conference this year in Chattanooga! I also subscribe to her podcast too!
Hal Miller, Human Resources & Administration Manager, Chattanooga Tourism Co.
I attended a recent HR conference where Heather was the closing keynote speaker. A coveted but hard spot to fill, Heather had the audience hooked on her well thought-out stories demonstrating that employee experience IS about emotions. Not only did Heather’s captivating speech have the audience engaged and involved, it also drove home the message that “We as leaders choose which emotions we invoke in those that we lead”. And her impact did not stop with her speech. Heather continued to graciously engage with curious attendees at the end of the conference. Yes, Heather…I Choose! I highly recommend Heather as a speaker. She will not disappoint!

OTHER
Heather is an extraordinary presenter! She recently led an interactive virtual event to explore inclusion in the workplace for an audience comprising workforce professionals and regional employers. While engaging a webinar audience can be a challenge, Heather kept everyone fully present and responsive. She speaks from the heart, cares deeply about courageous leadership, and strives to share her knowledge in the most meaningful ways.

We had the pleasure of hosting Heather at our Spring National Meeting. She is one of those speakers who comes through on stage or on screen with her warmth and approachable personality. Heather is authentic, funny, and honest and her style allows her powerful message to come through for all to understand. For teams or companies who are focused on culture and leadership, I cannot recommend Heather Younger enough.

I just had the pleasure of listening to Heather’s talk about Resilience Through Change. While the message of the talk was strong and encouraging, it was Heather’s charisma and presentation that really made the topic resonate with me. Heather’s humor and personal experiences kept the presentation fresh and exciting. In addition, while facing the limitations of a virtual platform, Heather was able to engage the viewers and allow for audience participation; helping us (the audience) connect with each other through our responses and experiences. At the end of the discussion, I felt optimistic and enthusiastic to implement and share what she had taught me.
Tammy Salazar, Forensic Scientist, Idaho State Police
Heather spent more time preparing for the engagement then would have been expected. For example, she spent significant time researching our organization and then she essentially interviewed myself and others to ensure that she understood our expectations as well as understanding the current state of play at the organization. Additionally, she provided a very useful and comprehensive report after the engagement outlining key takeaways from the question and answer sessions. In one day she facilitated four sessions (she was fully engaged and fully energized for each session) where she started off with a different set of remarks (each tailored at the specific organizational subset that was invited to the specific session), encouraged each group to fully engage, and facilitated an active question and answer session. Simply put, Heather R Younger is a superior speaker.
Uri Clinton, Boyd Gaming Corporation
I have observed Heather R Younger speak on two TEDx stages and as a speaker for various events (such as DisruptHR and leadership workshops). She is ALWAYS one of the most poised, professional, and prepared speakers who easily builds a connection with her audience. I highly recommend Heather for any speaking credential or opportunity.
Mikki Gates, TEDx Manitou Springs
Heather R Younger is a dynamic and engaging speaker who is on the forefront of 21st century leadership. Her work centered around caring leadership and the power of active listening is nothing short of phenomenal. Not only is Heather a master of her message on the stage, she goes the extra mile in engaging and speaking with everyone after the presentation. We hired her to be the keynote speaker at the Midwest Summit on Leadership and I have seen her present on two additional occasions. Pure class!
Danny Langloss, City of Dixon
Heather is absolutely spot on with her content - our CEO said it was as if she was part of the company, not an external speaker - the fit was perfect.
She went way out of her way to connect with us and communicate in advance and with our attendees onsite. She became a part of the event, as opposed to coming in, speaking, and leaving right away. Her differentiator is that she demonstrates her content in real life.

Thank you for participating in the Engineer Employee Engagement for All Managers at our DDOT. Your profound message on The Art of Caring Leadership will continue to inspire our leaders as we continue the spirit of engaging our teams across the agency. Caring for those we lead will be key to our reentering workforce and for those who have been on the front lines without having the option to fully retreat to the “stay at home” order. Managers who provide guidance for those brave men and women will need to provide a spirit of leadership with care and compassion.

Heather was wonderfully prepared, her time management was on point. I loved the background because it made it seem more “official”. No technical difficulties on webinar hosting (unheard of these days!), and the messaging was on-point while not being overly touchy-feely.

I had the pleasure of listening to Heather Younger deliver a talk via Zoom on how to cultivate more resilience. What an excellent speaker Heather Younger is. She keeps your attention with her vibrant personality and charming sense of humor. Heather very openly shares her experiences with adversity and makes her audience feel safe. During the talk Heather asked for participation and the comments were very open and honest. I left that session with skills I can put to use right away. I also am signing up for Heather's mini-course and buying her book about employee loyalty.

Heather just gave a talk to our clients and friends on resilience. It was a great message with actionable steps that everyone should take - especially in these times! She was engaging and funny but serious as she understands how we can't take being resilient for granted. Her personal story in overcoming obstacles was inspiring! No one dropped off the presentation; she had a firm grip on the audience! Thank you, Heather, for making today a very productive one for everyone!

Positive, Clear and Powerful. Heather's message was brought to our business association members at just the right time. While many of our local businesses struggle to find ways to recover from the COVID-19 shutdown, Heather's positive message gave us all a push to keep going while "Transforming Adversity into Opportunity" to grow. Thank you, Heather.

She gave good, practical suggestions on how to adjust your mindset and stay strong even when difficult times occur. Though virtual, Heather's presentation was very interactive.
