Scott received some wonderful praise from a recent financial services client. The back story: after years of booking 'industry insiders' this client was looking for something different. She wanted a speaker who could deliver a much needed shot to the arm to her association members, while still speaking to the challenges they face in their jobs every day, and the issues confronting their industry.

Scott Burrows recently spoke to a financial services company and the CEO was so impressed with what he heard that he booked him to speak to another one of his companies virtually on the spot. What struck such a chord for the CEO? In one word it was willpower. After the presentation he said to Scott: "you willed yourself out of that wheelchair. You willed your nerve endings to fire again. Willpower is the Grit." He went on to observe how very much his top producers needed to be reminded to will themselves up every day, and do all the little things they need do as they pursue new opportunities and grow their businesses.

Cary Mullen to carry the Olympic torch!

Two time Olympian and Olympic Hall of Fame member Cary Mullen will carry the Olympic torch in Camrose, Alberta on January 15th as it makes its way to the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. The Passing Zone:  Man in Ski Mask Steals Club

This week in Vegas, a guy in a ski mask came on stage, stole a club, and ran. Jon & Owen tracked him via RFID technology, watched him on video screens run through the hotel and outside, where police picked him up.

Oh forgot to mention...this was a gag...at this performance for Motorola, the dazzling duo helped them demo their RFID technology to the audience.  Lots of learning and fun was had as they balanced on their Moto-rola-bola!
